The most reliable capture: OBS renders the scene inside itself, so covered or hidden windows can never black it out. Keep this studio and the main OTBSync tab open while you stream.

Scene

Every scene has a designed spot for your face camera - it appears the moment the camera starts.

Face camera

Optional - joins whichever scene you pick, and video never leaves this device.

OBS, Streamlabs, or iPad setup

  1. Keep the board camera running

Start and calibrate the board camera in the main OTBSync tab, and keep that tab open while you stream.

  2. Choose your look

Pick a layout and scene preset above. Start the face camera only if you want it on stream.

  3. Add the scene to OBS

Recommended: press Create Browser Source links, add a Browser source in OBS or Streamlabs, and paste the link - the scene renders inside OBS and can never go black when you switch windows. Alternative: Open clean output plus a Window Capture of OTBSync Broadcast Output - but that window must stay visible; fully covering or minimizing it makes the capture freeze or go black.

On iPad, paste a Browser Source link into your streaming app's Web Widget (Prism Live Studio, Streamlabs). Keep Safari and the streaming app side by side in Split View - a backgrounded Safari pauses the cameras and freezes the feed.

  4. Match your canvas

    Set the Browser source (or popout window) to your stream canvas: 1280 × 7201920 × 1080 horizontal · 540 × 9601080 × 1920 vertical

The eval bar and best-move arrow can be independently toggled for the stream in the OTB Analysis controls. For bot games, configure them in the bot setup before starting. Online games never show engine help - no cheating on stream.

For simultaneous horizontal and vertical streams, add both Browser Source links (or choose Both / multi-platform for popouts). Keep this setup page open while streaming.

Your video never leaves this device: cameras and moves travel directly between your browser and OBS on this machine. Browser Source links relay only a small one-time connection handshake through OTBSync's server. Your streaming app sends the final stream.
